Dear Jen,
Sorry this is rather late in coming – married life has been very lovely but busy so far!
I wanted to write to thank you so much for the wonderful wonderful job you did on
my wedding hair and make up. I honestly cannot express enough how happy I was
with every single element of your involvement.
I can’t tell you how relieved I am that I found your website all those months ago!
From the moment I came to your beautiful flat for my initial consultation I knew
I had made the right decision.
The way you had put together all the ideas I’d sent you and the way you totally
understood the look I wanted filled me with confidence.
It was also such a lovely special experience to be in the relaxing, stylish environment
of your home and it really added to the whole experience of the run up to the wedding.
The trial day was so much fun and left me feeling totally confident that I was going to
be really happy with my hair and makeup on the day – it honestly made me feel so relaxed
to know that I was safe in your hands. The wonderful ‘report’ that you sent me after the
trial was really really useful in my preparations for the big day and it was great to have
a detailed itinerary for what we’d be doing when on the day, and it was full of all your
lovely tips! It now makes such a lovely reminder of the day.
On the day itself you were a total and utter star. With all the madness of excited girlfriends,
tiny bridesmaids, fizz glugging, and sushi eating going on around you, you were a real
professional and a pleasure to be around. Doing deep breathing exercises and perfecting
veil placement seconds before a nervous bride walks down the aisle really is above and
beyond the call of duty and I can’t thank you enough for your wonderful calming presence.
Not only was the whole beautyfying process really enjoyable but I was so so happy
with the final look you achieved for me. I have honestly never felt so confident and
comfortable in my whole life – people kept remarking on how amazing my hair and
make up looked. For the first time in my life I was also told a number of times I looked like
a film star – well I certainly felt like one. Now for someone who usually hates having their
photo taken, that really was a confidence boost! I honestly cannot thank you enough for giving
me that gift on my wedding day.Now I just want another excuse to get back in your chair
and feel that amazing again and have a laugh with you!
Honestly Jen, thank you from the bottom of my heart – you are a supremely talented lady.
